It is about time I posted something.
When we first started this blog, I was going to post faithfully, but as you can see that has not happened. For those of you who are wondering we did finishes the triathlon. It was a great experience. For some statistical information. In January I was 156 lbs now I am 140LBs. I know I am brave for posting my weight, but I am excited that I lost the weight. I still have a few pounds to go. In January I could run 3 times around the indoor track. 9 times around is a mile. Now I can run 6 miles. In January I could bike 5 miles now I can easily do 20. I could probably do more, but I havn't tried. In January I could swim 5 laps resting after each lap. Now I can do 25 or more. It has been a wonderful. Journey. I feel really healthy. I am still working out, and I plan on doing 1 or 2 triathlon the summer of 2010. Jay thinks that he can beat my time. It will be fun to have a friendly competition. I appreciate all of the people who have inspired me to do this. I thank Jen for being my workout partner and doing the race with me. She was determined to see that I accomplished my goal. I was so excited when she crossed the finish line.

Triathalon training
We have had more than 10 workout sessions and still going strong. We are getting stronger and faster and gaining more endurance each workout.
If my life wasn't busy enough. I decided to particitpate in Savior of The World. 4 stakes are getting together to do it. Jarom and Mary are also in the play and Parley is on the stage crew. It will be tons of fun. I get to be Mary's Mother in the play. I thought that was pretty ironic because I have been Mary's Mother for over 9 years. I was not expecting to get a part. I am a bit nervous I don't mind the singing part, but the speaking is a different story. I am excited to get to know everyone in the play. It will be a wonderful spiritual experience. It will also be fun to have some of my children enjoy it with me.

Hi, We are still going strong with the training. I figure if I keep others updated that we will keep going. It is still January after all. Jen is amazing. Saturday we did 3 miles on the bike. I ran 1 mile and Jen ran/walked almost 1 mile and we swam about 10 laps in the pool. We also lifted weights. We just keep plugging along. The sad thing is that I gained 3 pounds. I hope it is muscle. Our reward is going to be education week at BYU. That keeps us motivated. 1 week without house work and time to ourselves. We will also get to listen to great speakers. We will also be very healthy and strong.

Today was the first day of triathalon training. Jen Warner and I are going to do the Share a smile triathlon in Orem. We are well on our way. We got up at 5:00 a.m. and headed to the South Davis Recreation Center and rode bikes and ran and swam and lifted weights. Go Us!!! If anyone wants to join us feel free. It feels so great! Oh ya, Jay came too, but he is not doing the triathalon. He says he sinks instead of swims. I will keep you all updated on our progress. I realize this is January, and most goals are broken by February, but we are going to stick with it to the end.

No Time to blog
I don't know why we have this blog. We never put anything here. So I am going to give some highlights about what we have been doing. Our family went camping to Payson in September. It was so beautiful. The fall leaves were out in full color. It was still warm and Mary and Jarom went swimming. This was also the first time we have taken our dog, Samson camping. He loved swimming in the lake. We all went fishing and caught a mess of fish. Many think fishing is boring, but that is not the case when you have a dog that likes to swim. We had a yummy fish fry back at camp. Also in September my Mom and Dick came home from their mission to Australia, It is so good to have them home, but we never see them. They keep going on one adventure after another. Also during the month of September we started back doing school. My favorite part of the day is doing school with the children. The sad part is that my house is not as clean as I would like it to be. In October we went to Thanksgiving Point and went to the haunted corn maze. That was fun. Mary and Jarom went Trick-0r-Treating with the Warners. They really enjoyed that. November went by fast. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at my mom's house and after dinner we climbed the mountain and sat on the V. It made all of the pies taste so much better. The day after Thanksgiving we decorated our house for Christmas. It was nice this year because the children are old enough to really help. We had the Warner family come over and play games that evening. It was a fun day. Our oldest son Eric turned 16 yesterday. On Monday we went and played laser tag with the family. It was fun. Many more things have happened, but this is good for now. I'll see if I can post some pictures.
